Fraktul was selected to develop a new brand for the Binn Group, Scotland’s largest independent waste management supplier. The new identity was launched at the Perth Show in August 2014.

Binn Group, Perthshire

The Fraktul team has supported well known Perthshire-based company Binn Skips and Binnwaste Management with a major rebranding to Binn Group, as the business aligns itself at the forefront of the country’s waste management revolution.

Established by father and son John and Allan MacGregor as a land diversification project on their estate at Binn Farm, Binn Skips quickly became a household name for all skip hire needs for both domestic and trade clients. Rapid growth saw the company expand and evolve beyond their original landfill site provision and skip hire business to create Scotland’s largest and most diverse independent waste management operation, employing around 100 people.

As the company undergoes further expansion in response to increasing national focus on the waste management sector, the newly branded Binn Group is poised to drive forward in a sustainable, more environmentally friendly industry.

Launching the new branding at a business breakfast at Perth Show, Binn Group Chief Executive Allan MacGregor explained the need to continually expand and evolve. Stephen Gorton, Fraktul Managing Director, says “It is fantastic to have helped this local business develop its brand, to help it prepare for further business growth. We have worked closely with the team at Binn Group to provide a brand which has strong links back to the origin of the business Binn Skips, but which clearly describes the complexity of waste management services and provides opportunity for future development.
