Long-term client Castle Water asked Fraktul to design a new logo for the 
Herculean strongman challenge, The Ardblair Stones.
Castle Water is the main sponsor of The Ardblair Stones challenge, which consists of nine reinforced concrete spheres ranging in weight from 18-152kg. The stones must be lifted sequentially from lightest to heaviest onto whisky butts. The winner will be the person who lifts each of the stones onto the whisky butts in the quickest time.
The new logo had to reflect not only the Scottish, traditional heritage of the challenge but also to encompass the key attribute required – strength!
A brand refresh was required to re-launch the challenge to a wider audience and to have a clear and consistent image to help promote the events across Scotland.
The new logo has been used across a range of marketing collateral, where our team designed T-Shirts, vehicles, event mats, banners and even temporary tattoos!
